The Easy Portfolio App – ePortfolio Tool for Students & Teachers

After months of development I am pleased to announce that the Easy Portfolio iPhone/iPad app has finally arrived. To put it simply, Easy Portfolio is the easiest and most powerful way to capture learning evidence.  With one touch you can add 6 different types of records including photos, videos, audio, documents, URLs and Notes and share them via email or Dropbox. Never has there been an easy way to capture your students progress. Grab the app here or check it out in action below

To celebrate the release I am giving away an iPod Touch to the person who can develop the best video demonstrating the power of Easy Portfolio. To enter the video contest, simply go to the following link and enter before the 13th of July 2012. Good Luck.

  1. Mr. Robbo,

I think this sounds like an excellent idea and invention to have by your side when ever you needed it. However, a lot of people in the world can’t afford this app or even an Iphone. I do like the thoughtful contest, I may even ask my EDM teacher to help me out and work at it. This would really help out the students in their progress to better and healthier lives.

    Thank you,

    Keith Tardibuono

  2. Hi, it’s a great app, however, it won’t allow me to export videos to my dropbox account. It continues to come up as an error. Any suggestions?

  3. Hello

Is there any way to get the work from google drive? That would be amazing. I would get all my students to download it as we are a google school.

  4. Hello

Can you please find a way to get the required documents from google drive? I would get all my students to download the app as we are a google school.

  5. We are looking at completing a major rebuild of the app to include google drive integration. Cant wait to have it out.

  6. I was wondering, if you placed an image in the wrong students portfolio, how do you delete this image?

  7. You need to use the swipe to the right gesture on the picture you wish to delete. Simply swipe your finger to the right and it will bring up a red delete box, press this to remove the picture. Repeat.

  8. How do u move specific folders into a newly made group folder? I can’t seem to select a folder when tying to move one into a folder. Any suggestions?

  9. Is there a way to import student lists via dropbox csv file like on Easy Assesment or Easy Attendance??? If I have to typ all 400+ students individually on my iPod, then I won’t use it.

  10. Will it be effective off-line? Board will not permit personal devices on-line. Can upload once home.

  11. Very nice work Jarrod. Can I ask if it’s possible to move a document out of another app and into Easy Portfolio using the Open In… function? Say if someone shares a document with me by email and I want to add it to a portfolio?

  12. Actually I tested this and YES it is. If I have a document in Mail or any other app I can tap the Share icon and open it in Easy Portfolio. EP opens and asks where I want the new document to be saved. Perfect!

  13. Hey Rob. Glad you found the feature, I added it so I could use a swag of other apps and use Easy Portfolio as the final destination 🙂

  14. Hi Jarrod
You say that the portfolio becomes public once it is created. Does this mean that there is open access to anyone or is it simply access by the student and the teacher?

  15. I have documents in my dropbox, but when I go to add them to a portfolio it doesn’t show those documents as being in my dropbox. Why is the app not reading them?

  16. Is there a way to edit the portfolio name once it has been set up? Also, can student names in a group be sorted (e.g. alphabetically) or do I need to do this manually – a problem for late enrolments?
