Last year, I blogged about the idea of a mystery box challenge in PE, that would enable students to showcase their creativity in the Physical Education classroom.
The idea centred around the TV Show ‘Masterchef’, and more specifically the mystery box challenge. Essentially in this challenge contestants are given a random collection of ingredients which they need to utilise in their cooking. Creativity then takes hold and people mix these recipes into impressive meals.
So with this in mind, the mystery box PE challenge presents students with a collection of random assorted equipment they need to use to create an original PE game in an allotted time. See it in action in episode 5 of The PE Geek TV below
